Course Description
In Grade 6 and Grade 7, instructional time will focus on four critical areas: (1)organizational, test taking, and study skills; (2) keyboarding; (3) Google applications including Gmail, Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc.; and (4) digital citizenship.

Objectives
Students will be able to successfully identify and utilize good digital citizenship; study, test taking, organizational and keyboarding skills, as well as use Google apps for a variety of educational purposes.

Grading Policy
Grades come from in-class assignments and projects, as well as completed weekly planners. Homework is not assigned, although some projects may be worked on outside of class.
Instructional Routine
Classes will begin by signing into Google Classroom and organizing binders. Keyboarding will be completed 1 day per week using typing.com. Skills reinforcement in math and geography, technology skills, and social/emotional learning will occur weekly. The information will be presented by lecture, whole class discussion, group work, or online activities.
